13 oils & beeswax is all there is. Every ingredient has been carefully selected with consideration given to molecular weight (for deep penetration), properties, for the science behind it, and with great appreciation of what the plant world provides.

• 11% Meadowfoam gives this a silky feel on application, and a velvety soft feel throughout the day. No pimple forming, ocean sludge making silicones needed.

• Essential oils of Sandalwood & Blue tansy infuse a well grounded sweet floral fragrance. No perfumes, or need to compensate for the artificial with statements like ‘phthalate & paraben free’.

• Pomegranate, blackcurrant, raspberry & bakuchiol seed oils bring potent antioxidants, regeneration & restoration.

• Rosemary extract & vitamin E keep things ‘preserved’ without any nasty preservatives.

How to use.

• A little goes a long way, so start with less and build up. 

• Can be layered over a serum of choice. 

• Melt a small pea size amount between your finger tips, and tap all over face & neck to distribute. 

• Starting from the neck up, gently work the melt into your skin.

• Can be used with a natural stone Gua Sha to promote circulation, and relieve tension in the facial muscles.

• Makes a great base for Makeup!

 * Be aware that some serums use high molecular weight ingredients for hydration. These can inhibit the absorption of your melt. Play around and see if using less melt feels better.

•  Squalane - High purity botanical lipid produced naturally from olives. Lightweight. Fast absorbing, hydrates & balances sebum.

• MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides) - non greasy barrier support derived from plants, ideal for sensitive skins. 

• Beeswax - derived from our own beehives. Adds stability and texture. 

• Meadowfoam seed oil - highly restorative oil that’s growing in popularity. Originally grown as a replacement for Whale oil. Can withstand high temperatures and oxidisation. Over 60% of this oils profile is Eicosenoic Acid which is richly moisturising. Docosenoic Acid adds a smooth & soft touch. Docosadenoic Acid is anti-inflammatory- perfect for eczema & psoriasis. Oleic Acid offers hydration. Rich in Vitamin E.

• Organic Pomegranate seed oil - regenerative, rich in Punic Acid (omega 5), firms, restores, with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial properties. Rich in essential fatty acids, phytosterols, and tocopherols. 

• Blackcurrant seed oil - native to Europe and used in traditional medicine since the Middle Ages to relieve inflammation, sore throats & digestive issues. Rich in Gamma-Linolenic-Acid (GLA), Alpha-Linoleic Acid (ALA), anthocyanins, flavonoids, Omega 3 & 6. Supports elasticity and great for skins full of wisdom. 

• Raspberry seed oil - intensely protective and a powerful healer. Antioxidant rich, soothing, has natural properties that protect against UV rays. High in Omega 3 & 6, Alpha-Linolenic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Ellagic Acid, Vitamin E. 

• Organic Rosehip seed CO2 - Natural vitamin A, scar healing, boosts cell turnover. Treats dry, damaged, problem/acne skins. Highly moisturising and hydrating. 

• Bakuchiol - natural alternative to retinol. Extracted from the seed of the Babchi (Psoralia corylifolia) plant - a traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine herb used for millennia. Rich in antioxidants and helps to improve firmness, elasticity, improve texture / skin tone / hyper pigmentation. Anti-inflammatory & antibacterial. 

• Vitamin E (mixed tecopherols 70%) - wound healing, moisturising, protective. Enhances stability of other ingredients. 

• Rosemary CO2 extract - used as a natural preservative. Slows the oxidation of fatty oils, inhibits the growth of microorganisms and preserves shelf life. Rich in Carnosic Acid which is anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial.  

• Carrot seed oil - revitalising, detoxifying, antioxidant rich, promotes skin tone balance. Adds an earthy spicy dry aroma. Hailed by the ancient Egyptians & Greeks for soothing inflammation. 

• Blue Tansy essential oil - aka Moroccan Chamomile essential oil, It is dark in blue in colour due to a compound called Chamazulene. Powerful analgesic & anti-inflammatory. Repairs damaged skin from breakouts, abrasions, sunburn, and ideal for redness-prone skins.  Its sweet fragrance has an incredible calming effect. 

• Sandalwood essential oil - Added for its Alpha Santalol - a natural compound that benefits physical and mental wellbeing & induces apoptosis in cancer cells. Medicinal properties - antiseptic, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory. Excellent for skin cell regeneration, astringent.  

  Side note:

  • For a long time, harvesting practices were not carried out with respect for the land, plant, or Traditional Custodians and its importance to their spiritual identity . Sandalwood trees take 20-30 years to reach maturity, and with the Perfumery industry going mad for it, particularly through Asia, wild populations were ravaged. In the 90’s Sandalwood plantations were created on old farmland, and the first planted out, are now at maturity.

Malassezia SAFE

Malla who? … Malassezia folliculitis (aka fungal acne) is an infection caused by the Malassezia yeast, also responsible for seborrheic dermatitis & dandruff. It can be intensely itchy, and take months, if not years to clear. It is also more common in older adults. As we age, and our natural immunity slowly diminishes, the likelihood and incidence increase.  This skin melt is formulated to be safe for use by those suffering from a Malassezia overgrowth by excluding oils which are not listed as safe or mostly safe. 

Shelf life

12-18months when stored in a cool dry space below 25' Celsius. Keep away from direct sunlight or heat sources to preserve the quality of natural ingredients. Handle with the spatula provided or clean hands.
